Designing your board in DIYLC.
I had a customer add a board to their shopping cart using my DIYLC analyzer program.
Right away I could see 3 problem areas.
They had turret lug holes that were overlapping.
See the image below
In order to avoid this problem, you need to make sure you set the diameter of the terminals correctly in DIYLC
My turret lugs are 0.16 inches wide at the base
Eyelets are 0.20 inches in diameter
If you set the diameters correctly in DIYLC, you can see if you have your terminals too close together
If you use a 0.25 inch snap to grid in DIYLC, your terminals will snap to the center of a grid point.
Two turret lugs 0.16 inches apart on your board will be touching each other
Two eyelets 0.20 inches apart from each other will be touching each other
You need to leave some space between your terminals.
My DIYLC analyzer program cannot check for overlapping terminals, so you will have to design your board correctly before submitting it
