Title: Ibanez TSA15 - Discrepancy between schematic and circuitboard

On the widely circulated TSA15 schematic, dated 3/8/2011 rev. 2.0, the Primary AC fuse (F1) is listed for AC120V as T6.25AL or 6.25 Amps Slow-blow.  If you look at your circuit board you'll see the printed value is T1.6AL or 1.6 Amps Slow-blow.  Or about one quarter of what the schematic says.
So that begs the question - what size is the bloody primary fuse?
And how many TSA15's are out there being cursed at for blowing fuses because the circuit board is printed wrong.

It's not in the manual either.
Anyone solved this issue?

I gave up when the TSA wanted to lock me up for being American, only drive now  :icon_biggrin:

buy a 2.0A, n work your way up, or calculate the amps amps, or measure the amps amps

6.25 amps is unrealistically large for a 15 watt amp. I would use the 1.6A and never look back.

Yeah I would go with what the PCB says over the schematic. I can see it needing a little bit more because of the built-in Tube Screamer and solid state boost but not THAT high. There is no way it draws that much current. The 15 watt rating is pretty ambitious... this is not a very loud amp AT ALL and it is biased VERY cold. It can really use a beefed-up bias circuit because even full-on the bias is still at a very conservative level and still won't break up even at full volume. But that is by design... it's designed to be a crystal-clean pedal platform, which it actually does very well. I wish I had the 6L6 version...
