Title: Lo pass (treble Bleed) w/shunt R
Post by: jjasilli on November 22, 2019, 04:01:17 pm
I have read that phase is altered in the case of a lo pass filter with an R in series with C in the shunt leg: if the positions of the R & C are reversed.  But the sim below shows phase -- dashed lines -- to be the same.

Any comments?

my understanding of phase;
L and C do shift, think ELI the ICE man, but R doesn't effect the phase, just frequency
but that came from 40yr old data in my brain so buyer beware  :icon_biggrin:

Mis-written or mis-read.

Parts in series, nothing connected to the center, it does not matter what "order" they are in.
