Hi everyone
I'm Jon from London
I've been lurking on the forum for a while and finally decided to join.
I'm relatively new to tube amps, or at least the sort of custom jobs people talk about here. I recently decided to take up playing guitar again after a number of years of being too lazy. Rather than buying one and modifying it (I can't help myself) I made a Les Paul-ish style guitar which was good fun and I'm seriously pleased with the result. I found myself looking at whether I could mod my amp but then much like the guitar build project I went further down the rabbit hole and thought it would be more fun to build one. So here I am.
I've based it on the Uncle Doug / Supro Tremo-verb because his videos are really good but I left out the tremolo bit because I'd never use it.
It's currently a work in progress with the chassis built and most of the wiring and soldering done but it's a bit of a rats nest that needs to be sorted out before turning it on
