A former college buddy and nashville player gave me this out of his closet of misfit toys in non working condition. To the best of my knowledge its a dumble ODS 100 clone using silverface twin iron. Giving this thing the once over it looks like the only problem is broken pin in a power tube socket. IMO, id swap the socket, put in fresh tubes, and put it in a head.
He asked about maybe making a combo out of this. He tours a lot and has had cabling problems with head+2x12 rigs. With the orientation of this chassis would i be better suited to getting a new chassis or getting creative?

make it work, play it hard for a week while you're thinking creativity :icon_biggrin:

Thanks guys.
Sluckey, this isnt so much a dumble question as it is a tubes up vs tubes down head vs cab problem. I can theoretically rub all the decals off the front face and flip the chassis to make it into an easier to use combo or I could grab a blackface chassis and remount everything. Ive certainly combed some threads over there for sure I may post the same question to solicit more opinions.
Ill be updating the EKO duke post in the near future as well. Finally got around to recapping and tracing out the PI/power section.

That chassis was meant for tube up orientation. If you want to mount it in a tubes down orientation then you need to add tube shields and bear trap retainers to secure the tubes.
