Ok boys and girls(SG), here is one of my fav Tony Iomi grooves from the Dio Dehumanizer album. This one and The Shining from the Tony Martin years are my top two Iomi jams.
So in honor of SG's favorite indulgence, I give you "I". Please excuse the pale attempt at Ronnie's vocals. This was a bass and drum backing track, 1 vocal track, 2 guitar tracks - rhythm and lead. I was kind of in a rush and the lead was a one off. Not real happy with it as it just sounds like noodling. Some chorus on the guitars and some verb on the mixdown.
Chain: Oscar Schmidt SSH, Polytune tuner/buffer, Crybaby, Jojo's Afterburner Treble Booster, Tube preamp (really slamming the front end of...), Major (really loud...), 4x12, Samson mic about 2ft back. Not to sound like a commercial but Jojo's Afterburner is da bomb. It really pushes the right freqs to get that Iomi crunch.
Sounds kind of thin on computer speakers, much better with headphones. Hope you guys enjoy!

Yes, I forgot to mention, my throat has been sore for like 2 months. However, I did feel a little unicornish while recording!
