Title: Split Plate Load LTPI el84
Post by: cboysen on December 25, 2019, 07:51:02 am
Merry Christmas!

I'm building a plexi style el84 amp, much like sluckeys November amp.

Steve uses 15k plate resistors, and a 47k tail resistor to reduce the output from the LTPI to the el84s.

The el34 based plexi has 100k/82k plates, 10k tail. Is there any reason a split plate load design wouldn't work equally well? Say the 100k split into  82k/18k and 82k to 68k/15k?

Kind regards Christian.
