Title: Micro Cap 12 software is now free

Not exactly sure if this goes in this forum, but I was just informed from another news site that the MIcro Capsoftware (which has been a paid software for about 36 years) is now free to use.

This could be another alternative for a free SPICE simulator, if someone wants something closerto spice/LTspice, but with a much better interface. I used this about 25 years ago and it was waybetter than the other spice simulators. I have been told it still is.

i downloaded it yesterday when it popped up on my hack-a-day newsfeed. UI is much more user friendly than LTSpice. nice app from what i have seen so far.
