Not sure the name of these type of nuts, but I have 2 on my old silvertone 238. I need to replace 1 and would also find them useful for mounting a chassis behind a 3/8 baffle. Does anyone know the name and/or where I can find some that fit regular sized cts/alpha pots? The one in the attached pic is only for M7 pots.

Thanks Jonas. I'll search more on tee nuts, but the ones on McMaster aren't really the ones needed.

Tee nuts are nothing like what you need.

have a machinist make that part? deep pockets for that. if you did find a 3/8" T nut, then 3/8-32tpi likely will not be available. use a 3/8"-32 nut and a piece 3/8" ID tubing?

I thought about that. I could try breaking out my mig welder, but i'm pretty bad at it and would probably burn thru it if the tubing isn't thick enough. Heck, if I thought I could do that, i'd just repair the split one I have.
