Title: Another jazzy soundclip Over the Rainbow
Post by: tubenit on February 28, 2020, 09:21:28 am
OK, I admit that I have no business attempting to sing at all. And this was a particularly difficult one for me.

AND …………. I also admit that I have no business having as much fun with learning this more "jazzy-ish" type stuff as I do.

I like how clean this HoSo56 "the Minimalist" amp stays with 6BM8 tubes!  Perfect for my small practice amp needs.

Wow!  Real chords!  Quit showing off....  That was quite nice.  THEN, The very thought of you - some of the best leads I've heard you play. Sustenance, Fake Stereo, etc, etc.  You go between George Benson and Santana with ease.  I had not idea you had so much recorded.  Really cool stuff!  :worthy1:

Jim,

I'm loving this kind and tender hearted side you have here!  :icon_biggrin:

You realize Tele's were used (but not harmed or anything) on some of those recordings don't you?

And then you went and mentioned "Fake Stereo"...….      Yeah, that's a really cool tune and great playing also!!  I just wished it was my playing.  :BangHead:     That's a friend of mine named Chip who opened for Derek Trucks and Dave Matthews before.

Anyhow thanks!  I'm a D+ in actual talent. But I've learned to have fun making the soundclips.

:l2:   Your SUPPOSED to say, why yes that was me.  I really ripped on that tune didn't I!  I am ready to go on the road and have been invited to open for Dave Mathews and Derek Trucks.  That's called creative marketing!

Hey you can certainly hold your own.  I would have never known if you hadn't said something.  I am serious.

Get off my lawn!
