Title: Math help
Post by: shooter on March 05, 2020, 03:21:12 pm
I'm fighting big oil with banners cuz I can't afford lawyers  :cussing:
the 1st asked the question why would a rich lawyer(company owner) leave upscale to dig up poor farmer dirt

this next banner is all math, and it has to be correct, I will even pay cash if needed to get it correct.  (I rounded down no decimals)

1cubic foot = 7.48gallons   1acre = 43560 square feet
1acre with 50foot pool of oil = 2,178,000 cubic feet per acre
7.48 times 2,178,000 = 16,291,440 gallons oil

Divide by 50 = 325828 barrels oil per acre

Give the oilman ½ for getting it up leaves 162,914 barrels per acre
Give the trucker 20% to sell it leaves 130,331 barrels per acre
Get 75% of bench-mark(about$50) = ballpark  4.5 Million $$$$$$ per acre

Thanks
dave

BTW, big oil already bought the oil/mineral rights back in the '60s for pennies. Very few land owners in the South own anything except dirt.

My main purpose now, INFORM, the company owner is a big lawyer buying rights for pennies on the thousands.

Ya, when I bought this place I held up the sale and paid about $1000 in paper to ensure I OWNED the water n mineral rights.  but I'm just 4 acres in a thousand acre pool (of oil:)
