Hello from France, glad to be here.
Guitar player 'till 50 years ( Holy crap !), I want to dive into the very strange world of valve amplification for stringed instruments without smelling like a roasted koala ! I am a newbie in electricity, but I 've buy some famous books, and I am confident that I can learn and that good people all around the internet  are able and  willing to help me in need . For that, I send my anticipated gratitude.
I think, I am gonna starts with amp kits . I know that I must pay attention to the electricity standards of the country I'm living in, so I will probably try the german internet site "tube town", who seems to have some interesting items to begin with.
