....and greetings from Essen (near Cologne).

My main job is loudspeaker designer and I'm running an engineering company, working for HiFi and Automotive industry.

Working on Tube Amps is a sort of hobby. Often enough, I'm sitting on my desk the whole day, so I need a soldering iron to relax and that's why I do tube amplifiers. Normally driven by specs and measurements, a guitar amplifier is a good alternative and a nice playground.

So far, I'm really impressed with this forum, as you are covering a lot of problems. I ordered a set of AB763 boards from Doug to built a sort of lower power Twin with Tube rectifier and of course with the different Tremolo (Still thinking if need to elelvate the Heater because of the 2nd tube having 200V on the Cathode).

So it's hands down work with the soldering iron and brain-stretching that drives me.
