Title: Short (9") , long decay reverb tank for fender blackface type reverb circuit
Post by: Toxophilite on May 23, 2020, 01:04:06 am
I'm trying to hunt down a short size (9") long decay reverb tank that could be used with a fender blackface AB763 type amp. It's for a stereo vibrochamp I built into a very small cab, that incorporates an Ampeg stereo echo twin type of transformer driven reverb (they use the same tanks as the fender black face circuits)
I've found this one. Are the impedances close enough? 10ohm in and 2575 out

thanks!

Yeah - if your RT is wound for 8R secondary it should be fine

I have  the short, 3 spring, long decay tanks in 2 running builds. I think they sound great.
