Yes but from a linear you can obtain an A (log) (at the cost of a resistor)

This is for PCB but usable also on panel and has a PP switch instead of a rotary switch

At the moment I remember Log Taper and Reverse Log Taper (that can be obtained adding a resistor)

Which are the kind of Taper that can't be obtained ?

Or are you saying that the thing is related to the circuit in which the pot is used ?
