Title: Whoops. Forgot my introduction.
Post by: jordan86 on May 26, 2020, 03:13:42 pm
Forgot my introduction. Just started posting and mooching off everyone's wealth of wisdom a few weeks back. My name is Jordan. I just turned 34 years old. I live in Denver, CO with my wife and 4 kids. And I just finished building my first amp. A Mojotone aa1164 kit with several of Rob Robinette's mods from his page. I've been a long time tinkerer and done a few basic mods to my amps over the years, but have jumped all in as of this past weekend. Just wanted to say thanks to all for the help and input here thus far.

It was a rewarding process but certainly "work" at times. So glad I did it. Photo of the build attached!

I don't see any solder on those cathode resistors that are wrapped around the bypass cap leads. That's gonna cause grief one day.

Yes. Thanks, @Sluckey. I just realized that this morning as I was tinkering with the idea of a 2.2uf bypass cap. Appreciate your watchful eye and feedback. :)
