Title: Sluckey Revibe minus tremolo, differences from 6G15?
Post by: Diverted on May 30, 2020, 04:35:42 pm
Hi all,

I have built both the Hoffman and Sluckey versions of the Revibe. I am really, really happy with the way Sluckey’s layout worked out. It’s such a solid, SUPER QUIET and powerful unit.
I would like to build a smaller version of the revibe, losing the tremolo but keeping the reverb as is.

I’m wondering how I would remove the tremolo circuit from the board/chassis ... and also wondering if it would be as simple as building a 6G15? Or are there subtle circuit changes in the Sluckey schematic that I should account for? As I said I love the unit and want to try to recreate the reverb portion of it with as few changes as possible. Thank you! Schematic below.

Much easier to just build a 6G15 using Doug's layout.

Sounds good. I will do that, thank you.
