Title: Using Halo light switch as Power and standby switches
Post by: Captain chunkulus on June 09, 2020, 02:55:49 pm
The switches are 250v@5amps.
If it were wired for 1:20 instead would it increase the switches amps to 10amps? Lastly, will these you can work for a tube amp build? Thanks in advance for any comments or directions.

probably, keeping the 5A rating, might be hard finding 12vdc for the LED

I would not try at 120V 10A unless you're ready for smoke and you have a boatload and they were free  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks shooter, that's what I needed to know. Do any of you guys have a solution for a low Pro profile push button switch with Incorporated ?

your 2nd one didn't say anything about the "light" part, assuming it's powered from the mains, should work
