Title: Hello everyone

   I'm new to the forum and building amps. Hope I don't bother or duplicate any questions. I'm quite impressed with all the info I've found on the site the short time I've looked around.

  I'm 55 years old, been playing guitar for about 5 years and take lessons. I work as a Instrument Electrician in a industrial plant. So I get a lot of troubleshooting work with 24v, 120v, 480v and 4160v equipment and instruments. Have a basic understanding of electronics components and what they do, but never built anything from scratch. Have pretty good soldering skills.

  Haven't made up my mind on a kit, just getting ideas.
