Post by: Latole on June 24, 2020, 07:41:11 am
I use a Fender Stratocaster tremolo spring back plate to make a piece to fit where the pickguard is broken.
Output jack was missing

All pots shaft are split shaft with knob with a set srew; all original.
Set screw pot are for solid shaft. On a split shaft, knob with a set screw could break the shaft
I make a solid shaft with hard plastic piece

All tuning machines do not work properly. They are all dry from grease.
I spray white lithium grease. Now tuning machines work properly.

They have access hole for grease we can't see on the picture.

Vibrato tailpiece position look bad, spring is too soft making a wrong angle.
There is no vibrato arm.
I make a blocking tremolo with a piece of 1/4 " plumbing copper pipe.
Now tailpiece look better.

Thank you, I know Silvertone make few good amps.
It is a customer guitar, not mine.

I do some work on guitars these days, because I'm bore to work on amp
