Title: new EC tremolux question jumping pots

Thanks so much for all your feedback
I have changed tubes and still not getting volume I want or had gotten with jumping volume control
When I do this I get more volume but lose tone control its like its full up or bypassed
why is this?
Can you tell me what I am doing and can I just make this permanent with just soldering a wire

Shorting those 2 lugs together should have the exact same outcome as having the pot turned all the way up.

here's a Fender schematic that's "close" the one Sluckey posted in your other thread

It has both signal volts and DC volts, maybe compare yours to this and note differences, might get a clue

And this tone control does little or nothing when Volume is full-up.

Try removing R36
