Title: Gibson Mercury Colorado Springs

I realize this may be the wrong board, but I think more folks view this than the others. There is a Gibson Mercury piggyback amp for sale at Colorado Springs Goodwill. These things are monsters, I serviced one once. PP 6L6s - 6EU7 preamp with a closed back 2x12 cabinet. It's pickup only so I wanted to give members near Co Springs a heads-up. I never saw these amp, for $150, I think I'll buy it now ! But I live toooo far  :BangHead:

It sold for $416.
An organ player uses the one I worked on. It had the Mercury II cab which had one 15" and one 10" speaker with a crossover. The 10 was a Jensen alnico I had never seen before. It had a solid steel frame totally enclosing the back of the cone.
