Title: Back at it again after 20 years
Post by: scubasteve20 on August 28, 2020, 09:18:08 am
Hello everyone,

My name is Steve, hailing from Macclenny, FL. I'm a retired Navy Avionics Technician Senior Chief, now working at our family's real estate title company. I started dabbling in building amps 15-20 years ago and my guitar interests fizzled over the years since. Also in that time I've been married, had a daughter, divorced, re-married with a stepson and now have a baby boy on the way. Life has treated me very well recently and I'm in a place to get back into guitars & amps.

My past projects include a 4x10 JTM45 head/cab covered in burgundy football pigskin (first amp build) and a tweed bassman, both of those turned out perfectly but I sold them to my roommate back then. I also built a few tube screamer and fuzz face clones, along with several other random amp projects.

I used to frequent this forum and placed many orders with Doug back in those days. I'm glad to see how well everything's doing around here and how much the community has grown, much thanks to Doug, his site and the members of this forum. I'll now make a new post in the proper area seeking advice for my next build, probably a 12" Princeton Reverb-ish thing just for home use.

Thanks all & talk to you soon.
