Title: Question regarding Output and Input Impedance
Post by: RobBozic on September 09, 2020, 07:16:32 am
Hi,
I’m getting back into learning some theory and one very simple and somewhat dumb question I have is when you have a typical gain stage with an output impedance of 38.5k.
So you have a 22nf cap and a 1 meg volume pot. If the log pot is on ‘5’, it’s about 900k/100k.
I assume the input impedance is 100k?

Thanks
Rob

If the pot’s been wired normally, its input impedance will be 1M.
