Title: New Reverb tank on fender amp
Post by: sebbes on September 17, 2020, 03:52:04 pm
Hey guys,
Someone already noticed some issues with a new reverb tank? I wanted to change the tank of my old super reverb but it sounds completely not like an original tank. It is way to dark and cavernous. Nothing compare to the original. I tried a mod, tad 4ab3c1b and also a mod 8ab3c1b and a 8ab2c1b. All is really not accurate.. any help? 🙏🙏🙏

I would look for a used "made in USA" Accutronics tank. Or if you are incredibly lucky a 1960's "Gibbs made in Milton or Janesville, WI by beautiful girls" tank. I'm still lookin...
