Title: Sans Fx loop wiring change
Post by: daveyajd on October 01, 2020, 11:13:55 am

Hello all,

I am building a version of the Friedman Dirty Shirley. The original has a Metro style FX loop installed. I am planning on adding this eventually but not right away.
My question is about the 220k resistor that goes from master lug 3 to the FX loop on/off switch. If I am leaving out the FX would I just connect this to treble lug 2 where the FX would come back in? Or is this resistor used because there is an FX loop and I would just use wire to connect master and treble?

Steve sorry I don’t have a schematic. This build is being done entirely by photograph forensics and similar lineage comparisons.  :icon_biggrin:
