Why does this PT diagram say "red/yellow (CT) to red/blue (bias tap)"?
-
dark stabbing;
if you don't want a Ct OR a bias tap, jump CT to bias tap :dontknow:
EDIT :BangHead:
don't jumper, ignore me an them and do it correctly

There are no stupid questions. There are stupid answers and not wanting to risk giving one, I'll only add that I was curious and neither Heyboer or Classic Tone transformers for the same amps have that instructional note. Seems like some weird mistake to me.

It says that 50V is available between the center tap (CT) wire of your transformer secondary which is Red with a yellow stripe and the red with a blue stripe wire. If you don't need a bias voltage, (cathode biased amp) then nut off the red with blue stripe wire.

Thanks All!
