Title: 1 tube reverb in cj11
Post by: Rlaak on October 15, 2020, 02:45:08 am
Guys,

I just build a cj11 according to the much shared schematic on this forum. BF tone stack and tweed dlx power amp. I biased tubes marginally warmer (2.7k iso 3.3k) and i just love the amp.

To make it even more verstatile i'm now thinking of adding a  1 tube reverb (also the much shared version on this forum).

The question i have is where i can best insert the reverb ?
My current thinking would be to insert it after V1b.

OneTubeReverb - https://el34world.com/Forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=7957.0;attach=11276

Anyone experience with this ?

Thanks a lot Ron

I would try this but be prepared to experiment and tweak.  This is what I have in one of my current amps.  You can also try a 12DW7 with this.

While nothing to do with the reverb, I'd be tempted to change the post phase invertor caps that are .1 to .047.

With respect, Tubenit

I've heard quite a few of Tubenit's amps with the 1-tube reverb he showed, and they all sounded excellent!
