Title: Super Six Reverb
Post by: Joker3 on November 03, 2020, 09:59:28 am
My first post so please excuse any initial stupidity.  I’ve inherited a Super Six, well sort of.  I’ve got the cab, missing most all drivers, and some damage to its grill and tolex.  The chassis has mostly been stripped.  There is a good PT and OT with the choke.  Pots, jacks, circuits stripped out.  So, what to do?  I’m too old to lug a full Super Six around, I’m thinking of getting a twin cab built and running with 2X12s at 4 ohms.  Since the board is already trashed, I could go with some pre-amp choices?  Any help/suggestions much appreciated.  Looks like a ssn of A 41671.  Doc

I would definitely do something in the Twin realm. 4 6L6's and the twins a little simpler. They used the same OT. 4Ohm total speaker load (parallel two 8ohm's).

No totally sure - CFA7106 on back plate.  It’s been severely stripped, but looks like UL wires on OT are taped over, not cut as are all others OT connections.

Under the speaker jacks, does it note 100W or 135W?
