Don't know how many people know about them, so just wanted to give a shout out to Mesa Boogie for selling awesome leather corners on their website. I had been looking for a source for them for some time before I found these last week. I know there are tutorials online for making your own corners. But with Mesa selling them for 35 cents each (!!!) why bother? They come in tan, brown and black.
I installed these yesterday on a little reverb amp I'm building and they look fabulous. Soak them in water for 10-15 minutes to get them pliable, and then stretch and tack them in. There are gaps between the leather and the cab left over (see first pic), but as the leather dries it contracts. They are now sitting tight and solid against the cabinet (second pic).
I love them! Hope this info can be of use to someone who is looking for leather corners.

Wish my vibrolux had leather corners when I bumped her onto the glass panel of front door, just leaving for practice 😄😄😄

Nice looking. Good to know.
Leather corner may protect more (?) a window than a Fender corner who protect more the amp

Nothing nicer looking than a ragged corner of an old tweed amp imho

Hmm. I see 75 cents for the corner, 35 cents per tack. Which looks like $1.80 per corner, $14.40 for all 8 corners (if you don't know which one to hit the glass door with). I have paid more for less-nice corners, I admit.

Like before the wheel was invented there was no wheel .......
Simple evolution.
These leather corner have the advantage of being able to be made by yourself. It will then be a question of finding the tacks; shoe repair shop ?

I didn’t want to spring for the expensive Mesa tacks. I bought a box of leather/upholstery tacks at AAce Hardware, $5. They’re 3/4” and seem very solid.

Wow. That didn’t take long. I put a post about these up on another forum too yesterday. Mesa must have been watching. When I ordered last week, they were 35 cents😂😂
