Title: Sano GS15
Post by: jim on November 14, 2020, 05:17:31 pm
I am trying to quiet this Sano GS15.   I  cannot find  a schematic.   This disc(.005mf) on the input is a big antenna for noise.  Just blowing on it makes noise like a mic.  Can I clip it out and use a shielded run or just use a fender style arrangement?  Jim

Fixed it with clipping out the cap  and adding shielded wire and 1 meg across switch with no change in tone.  What a strange input arrangement though.....Fender already did it right so whats their point? I left the resistor to the other grid in place. it was quieted down as well.  Gonna button her up.  Jim

The Sano C-R was supposed to reduce "Guitar"'s bass in the lowest octave.

The shorting jacks are good.  The amp sounds less s***kicker and more Fendery with the cap out.  I replaced a few coupling caps.  Its smooth and rich but the tone did change a little.  Hope this guy likes it.Thanks for the help.  Jim
