I've recently more or less finished a "3-channel" modded 5F6A. Now it's down to faceplate and tolex, and sorting out what configurations work best with which guitars and for what purposes. I'm pretty happy with it - nice array of clean tones on both channels, verge of break-up is lovely in all 3 modes, but I'm still searching for a smoother OD with it. I like that I can manage the gain at various points in the signal path, and I have options to play around with that aspect of the circuit over time. I started with 5881's which sound good, but I like the snappiness and cleanness of the KT66's in there now. (edit) ... I suppose it's a beginner move: not sure quite how these things are supposed to sound and I have little experience to predict what will happen and what I'll like, so, build a little of everything into it and take my time trying out many possibilities.
I suspect the next one will be more focused in its design and voice.

Start with most options, simplify as you iterate. Looks awesome!

Who makes that 4 pole input switch and what is the part number?

I found the 4-pole switch on the GuitarElectronics website (Sku: SWM43-17), looks like manufacture by C & K, but I can't find it on the C&K site.

Thanks. I use a C&K 7211 for a channel switch. It functions the same as your switch but is only 2 poles.

@sluckey, I've noted the nice clean channel select design on your schematics, but couldn't work out how to get all the switching I needed in less than 4 poles, 3 positions, w/2 jacks. I'm sure there's a way, but that's the best I could come up with.

I finally received the Tolex and finished this up. Slightly odd proportions, now that I'm looking at it, but I had to make it tall for the 5R4 and other big bottle options.

This Dirty Tele clip progresses through light comping and a little lead playing on both pickups, then I switch on a clean boost (ChaseTone SP) and bridge pickup only for the third half of the clip.
The Dirty MC5 clip uses the same amp settings, though I dialed the first stage input gain back slightly just to clean it up a bit; it also progresses through comping and lead playing just on the neck SC pickup, then switches over to neck humbucker, then through the boost pedal, and finally a few seconds of playing just through the bridge humbucker.
And finally, I can get quite high gain out of the amp, but the character of the guitar and amp both tend to diminish with higher gain, so it's less interesting for me... but the High Gain Tele clip is on the Tele with boost peal and/or DOD 250 (I don't remember).
