Title: Sol Super Lead 60
Post by: HighFlyingV on December 05, 2020, 12:58:06 am
So , I have a old Marshall JTM 30
and I was searching the web trying figure out if I could build something using the stock transformers with 5881 that would be like a modded JCM 800 , not an exact copy just in that area of high gain.

Has anyone built the soldono lead 60 from the Hoffman schematic list ?

I am not so much asking to change the schematic . Just wondering if anyone has built a similar soldono or perhaps some other suggestion with the 5881’s clean to mean tones . I know fenders are go to 6L6’s but they are generally known as clean amps .
