Hi everyone.
I'm a professional saxophone player based in Italy, or at least I was until concerts became illegal.
In the meantime I'm using my newfound free time to restore a Fender Rhodes Mark I and a 1970's-era Italian tube amp, the FBT 500R, unfortunately based on the nearly unobtainable EL503 power tubes (although the amp I purchased has some good strong ones installed).
I'm hoping to get some help troubleshooting and proofreading my proposed modifications since I'm extremely new to anything beyond basic soldering, but so far I've been doing a deep dive on basic concepts between Youtube videos and a ton of articles, and I'm really enjoying all the learning.
I'll be sharing more detailed questions on the appropriate part of the forum, in the meantime thanks in advance for your patience and understanding regarding my incompetence, and I hope everyone's off to a good start in 2021.
