In the spirit of SG's AO-44 conversion I also am almost finished with mine. I crammed in about as much as I dared to fit inside the chassis, on the chassis, and around the chassis. Does that count for extra credit? I had an idea using as much of the PT as reasonable while the 6AQ5s have lower/less requirements than the tubes of the original amp comes with. The lower voltage is perfect for the 'AQ5s. This allowed me to add extra valves and gain stages too. I gathered a nice NOS stash of the pentodes a while back and finally have a chance to use some of them. It's not quite finished but it's working fantastic in the meantime. It's not exactly as pictured but close, and the schematic hasn't been revised as of yet accounting for the changes. Nothing earth shattering or ground breaking but plays and sounds great: EF-86 > CF > LTPI > 6AQ5s...

Now you're just showin off.
I feel like you were just waitin in the weeds for me. This is way prettier than what I have planned.
I might have to just go away and never talk to anyone ever again.
That's the correct response, right?
Oh yeah, first I have to tell you it sounds like crap.
Without soundclips or a schematic it never happened.
If some dude builds an amp in the forest and no one ever hears it, did it ever make a sound?
Oh yeah, and my pool cue wants it's logo back!

Are you sure you're related to our Boy-Karen??? Damn you sound just like him. Next you're going to disagree by saying only "bah"??? I searched for a logo I had in mind and didn't really want to call it that but I found that one and it was perfect (and fast n easy) so...what the heck? If your cue plays as well this little guy then you should make enough to pay for itself? BTW, I found something like a hidden little gem that was discretely hiden in Merlin's descriptions. Don't ground your screen to ground... go directly to the cathode do not pass go and do not collect $200. You'll thank me later?

Cobbled together and updated the schemo.
