hey why not add to the fun!
since the output transformer on this is the same as what comes on the ao-43 (which I'm a fan of) i swapped in the ot from a thomas organ (used the pt from that thomas in a 6l6g vibrochamp build). then i painted them red because... there was a little bit of red automotive paint left in a spray can. good enough reason for me

big sprague atom electro cap had been floating around my parts bin for years after removing from a 5e3 build i gutted... turned out to be leaky so that's gone along with some other swapped components
in the 1x12 combo cab with an alnico speaker pulled from a conn transistor organ

haven't updated the schematic to remove the preamp cathode bypass caps or adjust the power amp bias resistors

soundwise it's interesting. nice cleans but gets dirty fast like a tweed. has a tweedy "rasp" from about 3 o'clock until 9 o'clock on the volume and then somehow sounds like a metal amp with the volume cranked. digging the moonlight tone control. still wanna try a 5751 in place of the 12ax7 for more cleans

Nice!
Holy resistor pileup
I will pray for you that you may never have to replace a tube socket.
I don't know how you did it, but I applaud your gumption. Thanks for sharing.
