Hola amigos,

I am looking for a professional compressor for guitar. Maybe between a rackmount and a n MXR. Any idea, suggestion ?

I used a Rocktron 300G for years with decent success.
I think these can be found pretty cheap on Ebay.
Rocktron 300 G Compressor/Limiter/Hush Black | Lou's Gear Emporium | Reverb (https://reverb.com/item/28845614-rocktron-300-g-compressor-limiter-hush-black)
I though they would be on Ebay but when I looked, nothing.
Mine is sitting here not being used.

I'll have to see if I can find the power supply and test it out.I would only want like $40 plus shipping. It's in $40 condition.

The more I thought about this the more I think I might be wrong. My Heyday was 20 years ago and I bought this close to 25 years ago.
You'd think they would've come out with something better since then.
What's your goal with it?Sustain?  Boost?  something else?

My first goal is to increase my guitar sustain level. I want to use it for recording as wel, for voice and overall compression. I don t mind about scratches and cracked or missing knobs.
If it works properly, I.am your buyer

I would eventually build a tube comp / limiter but not a pedal. I own a MXR Dyna comp  but  don't use it. I would buy the the Keely Pro which corresponds to my needs after the reviews I read. Thanx for the schematics !

I even made a footswitch in an enclosure of an old MXR dyna comp  from the 70's and parts from my "mixed nuts" jar..... :icon_biggrin:
