Hi, I haven't started building my amp, still on a planning stage. I have a few Mod ideas I wish to have in the amp and the first one that's really important for me is this:
Having only one Guitar Input that can be switchable to Hi Low and also having Normal and Bright Channels + Normal and Bright (internal jumpering). I'm not that experienced in electronics so I haven't been able to figure this one out. Is this possible?
Also, other mods I want is a MV, maybe Type 2 and an FX Loop.

There are much smarter minds on here but, I think switching would need to be the way to go. One input. One switch for high low that engages disengages different grid leak resistors. Then a three way switch for the channels. One to normal, one to bright, and one to both in parallel. I don’t think there’s a way to sum or break them without a switch. You could much more easily sum(jumper) them at the tube socket but then they would both be always on. Need a switch if you want to separate them.

I'm quite happy with the Frondelli inspired MV I put on my recently built 5F6A. Lots of info and layouts for it out there.
