Title: line out for single ended tube amp
Post by: mazzgreg on February 26, 2021, 02:48:58 pm
Hi guys,
I am currently building an amp for a friend. It's a single ended harp amp with a 8ohm opt. He requested that I put in a line out for gigging. Is this even possible?
Thanks, Greg

Of course.

Some clue on Power (not just impedance) might be nice. However it is probably 8 Volts RMS for 8 Watts RMS of sweet(?) square wave. (6 or 7 volts clean sine.) A board may like 1/10th of that. 600 ohms is a ballpark line impedance (going within the same stadium, not cross-county). So 4.7k and 470r divider is a good starting point.
