Arrgh! I'm trying to build a small amp with a B+ of about 270v and SS rectification. Hammond doesn't seem to have anything that will work (the best match has only 70ish mA rating) The pt190.2 from Musical Power Supplies would be perfect (380Vct/120mA), but he doesn't have any with 120v primaries in stock. Edcor has some close-enough options, but they are quoting 10week+ lead times.
Am I overlooking a supplier? I figured out a way to get what I need using a HV transformer + a doubler and a separate filament transformer, but that seems really inelegant. Thanks in advance!

what sort of filament current do you need? maybe not elegant, but i've been using toroidal power transformers purchased off ebay for about 30 bucks shipped, 216vac/120ma 12.6vac/800ma, wiring the power tube filaments (6v6gt) in series and the little bottles without the center tap. besides chinese writing on the side, it mentions record player so i'm guessing that's what they were originally for

Thanks for the replies, folks! For this project I don't want to go with toroidals for packaging reasons, but they would be a good alternative otherwise. I do need at least 2A on the filament winding. I'm still thinking about it- that 10+ week lead time Edcor is quoting nowadays is pretty unappealing but maybe they're the best bet.
