Hi guys. My name is Luis Costa. A long time ago i i inherted a Fender Super Reverb Deluxe. I didn't work because the power transformer was burnt. I've been trying to search for the appropriate transformer and i can't find that fully respects the amplifiers' construction. The transformer has 117/200/210/220/230/240 input voltages and from what i've seen online no one builds this specific transformer. Does anyone know where i can get this part? Is anyone building custom transformers for this type of amplifier?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Luis Costa

Is your amp a Deluxe Reverb or a Super Reverb?
-

-

The Fender part number was 125P5D. There’s also a modern export version of it for sale here.

Thanks guys. You've been very helpful but still none of those pieces have 117/200/210/220/230/240v for the primary winding. Sad hould i just go and purchase one those and have the options available?

which primary winding are you needing?

Ok, so where do you live and what is your mains voltage?

These are the same part, of course. $150-$200 in the US: https://octopart.com/290d2ex-hammond-96672046
This part DOES do nominal 230V although I agree it is not clear.

Go directly to:

Known good supplier; these transformers are in stock.
Since you are overseas, I'd suggest an email to them to see what your shipping options might be.
In addition, Hammond https://www.hammfg.com/electronics/distributors
does have numerous distributors worldwide, and you might be better off working with a local supplier.
Now, if you want a really pricey transformer, contact Mercury Magnetics. Great product, not better than Hammond IMO, but has that Tony panache that exudes quality to some. Best to contact them directly by email rather than wade through their arcane online catalog. They do respond quickly.
Another option is https://www.edcorusa.com -- I love their iron, but they build to order and it takes a good eight weeks for them to build during the covid.
