Title: Grid stopper for LTPI

Modding my friends JCM800, done some Jose mods to the preamp, added resonance control ect...
I have read somewhere (cant find that thread now) that adding 100k grid stopper to LTPI will make distortion smoother, probably because that resistor will form RC filter with tube input capacitance. Is that mod worth considering? I have never seen that resistor on any high gain amplifiers so its strange to me
