So I picked this old amp up a couple of days ago and right off I noticed something off,it had 2 output Jack's and where they screw into the back it is def not factory!! I'm trying to find someone with experience working on these, yes I know what it is and sn.448 I know it's a rare piece, this poor thing has ben sitting under a collapsed roof in an old house for well over 15yrs she is in rough shape, the box is totally destroyed but the electronics actually faired well considering, so I screwed up first thing by plugging it in with out speakers hooked up and I'm not sure if that's what popped the fuse but it did fire up a d all the tubes lit up nice then 10 sec later it just shut off and i found the fuse blown! Looking at it i also realized it was a 3amp so I know that also was not correct, i went and got the correct fuse but now I'm scared to try it again after seeing the prices these are going for!! I'd much rather find a knowledgeable repair guy and just let them go thru it with as little of a touch as necessary, I do not plan on getting rid of it as of now and since I work with wood I plan on building a replica box but out of exotic wood and high polish no vinyl, of course I'll keep the old box and any parts removed for value and maybe future sale, it really looks fantastic considering where I found it!!

I think Charter ISP is just messing with IP numbers. The geolocation seems different. The writing style is different. The registered email address is different (proves nothing, I know).

Can someone sent me a link or a number to a good tech that can service this amp?? I know it needs to be gone thru as far as replacing caps and fixing the output! Someone jumped this single out to a double and this thing might actually be fine I made two huge mistakes when I first powered it up! 1. no speakers hooked up 2 . :l2:I did not know the switch on the far right was for voltage and I had it on the wrong voltage, along with the wrong fuse! Hell now I'm scared to pick it up thinking I might drop the dam thing!! Lol

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to sell on here but I think I'm going to pass this on to someone that can care for it!! The more I read about it and talk with artists and techs this is a pretty rare piece of history and I'm just not prepared or equipped to give it the love it deserves so if anyone might be interested or know someone that is there is a finders fee for helping me give it a good home!

How much do you want for it?
I built myself a clone but it would be cool to have an original also. Send me a PM of you don't want to post a price publicly.
