Title: Altec 418 Question

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Altec 418 and 418B 15" guitar speakers? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks but I still can't find any information regarding the plain 418 model, only later versions such as the 418B and 418-8H.

Out of curiosity, since none of us can find a reference to the 418 model, what is the context of your question?  Do you have a 418?   Pictures would be nice.

Sure, I should have thought of that earlier. I thought that I was purchasing a 418B but received this 418 instead. I'm trying to figure out just what it Is that  I have and if it is suitable for my application.

Contact Great Plains Audio.  They bought out all the tooling, and records and should be able to tell you what you have based on the SN# if it hasn't been re-coned at some point.
