The amp is a Ratajczyk Dream Reverb 30w w/ 25w Greenbacks.
Can someone who "knows" explain to me what is generating that distinctive and frankly God Tier tone?
Any "ears" for the circuit type/likely configuration etc?
Its a 6L6 ss rectified, push pull, cathode bias, class A amp so its not likely to be the output section at that volume..
I haven't been able to find a shred of info other than this.
I figure this is a Fender'ish circuit (perhaps with less NF) but I can't find any real info on it online alas. Certainly no info on the circuit.
I have heard similar tones from a Pro Reverb (tube rectified) with Greenbacks in it, so I figured it was just the Fender+Greenbacks thing?
Any ideas? I'm in lust with this sound.
PS: I have the same pickups and through my amps they sound nothing like this hehe.

It's definitely a Dumble. No doubt about it.
