Here's a couple video's of plants on my property blooming.
A wild Flame Azalea and a Mountain Laurel
-
I have 12 of those yellow azaleas in my yard. They bloomed at the end of March down here. Best smelling flowers I know. When I was a kid we called them honeysuckle bushes because of the smell. There are pink and white varieties down here too. All grow wild in Alabama. Mountain Laurel grow wild around here too, but they prefer river banks and don't do so well in my yard. Got three peach trees in my yard that are full of peaches.

I did find a pic from 2018...

We have the pink ones here also, but they are at the higher altitudes
Like up along the Blue Ridge Parkway at 4000 feet
I am at 2300 ft
The wild Flame plants are more deep orange here
But I do see some that are faded orange and closer to a yellow.

The Holley trees are blooming here now with very tiny white flowers
They have an intense sweet smell that travels a long way through the air
Those are probably the best smelling blooms I have run across here.
Maybe honey suckle vines also go into that same category.
