 SS to Tube rectifier
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is possible for an experienced tech to change the rectifier type.

If I'm not mistaken, the SS recitifer is in bridge rectifier format. A tube could replace 2 of the 4 diodes in the bridge to accomplish the tone change and voltage drop.

You could also replace the bridge rectifier with a WeberVST Copper Cap which has the proper wiring for using as a bridge rectifier (such as the WBR).
