Not sure if this has been covered, but just figured this might have value to someone out there:
Amp Schematics - Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6b2v3KWi6EHQzZHTEVuNnA3ZjQ?resourcekey=0-iO00tIP5MdZOWoWTVA078Q)
I scanned for viruses and they came back clean but I can't verify.

That's the Aspen Pittman collection.
-
Thanks Steve.
I hadn't seen them before.
I stumbled across them while trying to find the link for mresistor for the Fender Amp Field Guide.
Might be useful if the internet's ever down and I want to throw a pile of parts at a chassis.
Oh yes, and thank you Mr. Pittman! RIP, my good man
-
Also never saw this. Thanks again for pointing this out Steve, it led me down an interesting road. Always appreciate your words.

I'm pretty sure all those schematics have been assimilated by the borg king. :icon_biggrin:
-
I've learned some tough lessons over the last few years, but none as tough as the fact that I could wake up one day and my favorite website could be replaced with a picture of someone's grandkid on a beach.
So, to combat the fear, I've found downloading PDFs to be a soothing type of insurance therapy.
-
Absolutely! All those Aspen files, schematic heaven, Doug's library, etc., etc. are on my HD for easy access plus they are backed up on an ext HD and a thumb drive.
-
You should copy those thumb drives and sell em for beer money.
-
I have already Borg'd many schematic web sites into our library here.
Most likely all of those schematics are already in our library?

Yeah, I'm just worried about you old guys goin away someday and leaving behind just some pictures of your dogs with the words "IT WAS A GOOD RUN"
sluckey already scared me once.
In all seriousness, I thought it was cool to be able to bulk download them quickly in a couple PDFs.
Much quicker than clicking and saving each file in the library.
What's the program the Borg uses for quantity assimilation?

Yeah, the big pdf's are nice, but eat up a ton of disk space.
I did it a long time ago, but I think I used addons for Chrome or Firefox to bulk download.

I actually have that Pittman book, complete with CD. All those files are also available in a single 211MB pdf. And there's a table of contents that contains bookmark links to each single schematic. Very easy to use.
-
Looks like they don't include the CD anymore and this guy is not happy about it.
-
That's too bad. Maybe you should send me a pm.
