(http://)I picked this up some time back and just checking it over the wires out of the transformer are very stiff and cracked. This is the way the trans mounted originally with the wires going down to the underside.
Anything I can do to use these, heat gun and run down the holes...break the insulation and heat shrink.
I would like to use the power and output transformers because the HT is right around 300vac and the output matches
The 7868.
Any suggestions?

Try this

Is the insulation cracked all the way through--showing copper wire? If so, I would replace the transformer. Or is the cracking only on the clear coating over the insulation? If so, I would just use it.

There is one wire with the insulation cracked on the bend where it exits the wrapping.
