Hi All. I'm experimenting with a two-channel amplifier that I'd like to operate by either a panel switch or footswitch. A or B but not Y. I've drawn a diagram showing what I think will work. When the footswitch is plugged-in, the panel switch is disabled. The relay is a conventional Dumble-style arrangement. I may put a voltage regulator in place of the 1 ohm resistor and the resistors on the dual-color LEDs will be based on the draw. Some of them come with the resistors already installed. The footswitch jack on the back panel is a Switchcraft 13B stereo with a shunt on the tip. The footswitch itself will be hardwired with a strain-relief.
At any rate, I throw these things up there mostly to see if anyone says, "Why don't you just ..." as this wheel has already been invented and no one told me.
